Social Bookmarking...so Web 2.0!!!
Social bookmarking sites are an increasingly popular way to locate, classify, rank, and share resources through tagging.
I couldn't resist. Hans over at Beautiful Beta has been burning the midnight oil coming up with new and beautiful ways to adorn a blog. One of his latest is Social Bookmarking. Everyone has a favorite (my newest fav is Ma.gnolia, but that is another post). When I get time to work with the bowels of my template, I'm going to edit his code a bit. But for now, it is up and running, at the bottom of my posts. And looking quite spiffy.
Once again I am thanking Hans for all his hard work. And helping to make my blog soooo Web2.0!!!!

If you like social bookmarks you might like this little trick I found (note: requires a knowledge of CSS).
Add all of the social bookmark buttons to the page that you would like your users to be able to use. Give each of the items a class (let's call it .SocialBookmarkButtons). Then in the CSS add -
.SocialBookmarkButtons {
display:none;
}
.SocialBookmarkButtons:visited {
display:block;
}
What this does is hide the buttons unless the user has the social bookmark site link in their browser cache (i.e. they have visited the social bookmark site recently). That way you are only displaying the buttons you need to display to your users.
My favorite Social bookmarking website is Stumble Upon and also Mixx It. <3 I like using social bookmarkiing, it gives good backlinks. ^^
We can also select most popular top 200 link sharing sites to submit the base URLs of website in them. It will help us to boost our rankings in search results. I have tested and verify this technique and it works superb.
