New Comment Feature in Blogger
I've been so busy, but I wanted to point out to those of you that haven't noticed the new comment feature feature that recently appeared in Blogger.
After leaving a comment, you will see a new choice Email follow-up comments to. There you are able to choose to have any follow-up comments sent to you.
I love this feature, being a long time advocate of any means to tell readers when a comment is left. One of Blogger's better moves. Comments are the backbone of blogs. And email follow-up comments is calcium. (Is that goofy or what??)

That is sooooo goofy. Wordpress has this option since really long. It was high time blogger caught up.
I think it is a great improvement on there Blogger platform, just another reason to get a Blogger blog is you ask me!
@eLohuki, Open Dashboard | Settings | Comments...check yes in Show comments in a popup window?

Hi, Annie. I have one more question. Is it possible to put a navbar up on blogger. Do you have an idea where I can get a tutorial that can walk me through this. I am trying to loosely bring together a few blogger blogs. Thanks as always. I never got round to putting up the footer section. For some reason if just wouldn't work.
now if only blogger let the blog owner email the person that left a comment... that would be perfect!
Hey, Annie.
Just stopping by to see what you were up to and noticed you haven't updated in a while. Hope everything is ok and you're just busy with work and family stuff around the holidays.
@omodudu
If you do a search for "CSS+Horizontal Navigation+Free" you should come up with a few CSS websites that give you a few pieces of code that you can use for a nav bar. Also, if you come across a blogger blog that has a navigation bar you like check their page source because they probably got it from a website and there should be a credit to the website the code came from.
Hope this helps.
@mrbrownthumb, I've been around. And you are right, been busy. Also, I've been helping readers behind the scenes. That takes a great deal of time. I'll be posting again...eventually!
You, on the other hand, have been quite the busy blogger! I always check your blog for all my gardening needs. You need to do something on the best time to prune an indoor/outdoor weeping fig. Mine has become entirely out of hand.
funny you should mention that I just did a post (sort of) on ficuses. I'll see if I can take a pic of one somewhere and do a post on trimming just for you.
@mrbrownthumb, I would so appreciate it! And so would my gangly ficus!!
nice feature to start with. but this would have happened earlier. any ways better late than never, would like to see some more new innovations in commenting section soon.
I wanted to note that while WordPress may have this feature, too, you need a plugin to add it to the self-hosted version (which is what I use).
Ah well, it's a nice feature either way :)
The new feature is cool. I think it is a great improvement on their blogger platform, just ask another reason to get a blogger blog.
I like the new feature it is user friendly as well as secure for the admin.
What a great idea of paying it forward, in a way that will ultimately benefit the industry. The better the quality of the VA the better the reputation of the industry particularly as there seems to be controversy about partnering with a VA or employing one. (I believe you partner with a VA not employ one).
The new feature is cool..Hope google implements more of them..
