Table of Contents 100 posts +
Once again, I'm thanking my friend, Hans, for coming up with an answer to a problem I had. I had exceeded the 100 post limit for my old Table of Contents. Hans figured out how to fix that and kindly wrote this post,
Beyond the 100 post limit. So check it out and get a limitless TOC for your blog!

Hi Annie!
Thank you for all this tutorials, I have copied and practiced a lot from your hacks, although I gave up with the CCS and ended using a template from the great people from Blogcrowds.
But there are a couple of things that I still have to tweak in that when I try them the mess up the entire format. The blog is very multimedia oriented.. news readers, images, video.
I would really appreciate if you can make any recommendations about the design and safe ways to hack it up.
And congratulations in your new home, may it be filled with light and happiness.

Annie, I want to conduct a series of blogger comparisons. Can you participate? If so, contact me at http://www.techzilo.com/contact/ and I will get back to you.
Thanks.
Hi Annie, I have used many of your tweaks to improve my blog (Blogger). Now, I would like to add a global navigation bar just below header image - About - Contact - Author like this - do u know how can I do it?
my blog is http://howtoliveonline.com/
Hey,
Thank you. My friend Max will be highly pleased when he'll see this; as because just the other day, he was worried about his blog since he is at 94 posts.
I found few cool tips at your blog.
Thanks!
Hi, it's Snoskred here. I've recently become a blogging chick and have set myself a challenge to comment on as many Blogging Chick blogs as I can. So that's why I'm here. ;) Saying Hi and all.
Seems like it's a while since you've been around, I hope all is well. :)

@Snoskred, I'm around. Just busy with other things. We have moved...in Florida now. But problems with the house up north...the buyer backed out of buying after we had already moved. So stress is high for me.
I still check the blog on a regular basis. And will probably post when I find something I can post on.
Thanks for the visit!!
Hi Annie,
You popped up in google reader and I thought oh wonderful she's back. Read your comment and I'm so sorry to hear the folks backed out of the deal on your home. You did have a deposit right? I know that doesn't help a lot given the awful market. You truly have a gorgeous home and a new seller will come along soon. I'm pullin, praying for ya.
Miss your wisdom.
@Janet, Hi!! I'm not quite back. Settling into a new job, and my responsibilities will be greater here. But, I hope to ease back into BlogU! Nice to hear from you.
We did have a deposit, which ends up being in limbo. I can't get it, and until I sign it over, they so-called buyer can't touch it either. Believe me...I'm not signing it.
Optimizing the Han's Table of Contents:
Hi Annie, I’m enjoying the Table of Contents (ToC) created by Hans from Beautiful Beta that you have on your blog. I would like to know if it’s possible to satisfy my two following desires with Han’s amazing hack. I have already asked Hans over a month ago but I don’t have any sign that he is considering my questions.
Two Desires
1) Titles displayed from newest to oldest dates by default;
2) Scrolling feature
If the list of posts is very long, when you click on a category near the bottom of the list that doesn’t have many posts in it, the long ToC shrink or collapse to a tinny ToC that gets sometimes out of sight. When this shrinking event happens, you are left somewhere on the main page. The ToC user might get the feeling that something just went wrong. (Test it on your own blog).
I would like to know if it’s possible to add a kind of scrolling feature embedded in the Toc. The long list of posts and its related information would be displayed in a kind of ToC or table with a scrolling sidebar (like in the Leave your comment section on the Post a Comment page). The ToC or the table would display only a limited number of posts at the time but the scrolling feature would allow accessing all the posts easily.
Is this scrolling feature doable? If it's possible can you show me how?
Regards!
@Alain, Presently your problems are beyond my scope of knowledge. To tell you the truth, I was just happy to get the TOC up and running. But, you can click on the Post Date title at the top of the list and it will arrange the posts according to last posted. Not by default though.
I suspect that Hans is busy. I haven't seen him around lately.
About Optimizing Han's Table of Content: Hi, Annie! I share you happiness in relation to the TOC. I really like using this tool to explore your blog. It gives me a sense of mastery over the way I navigate through your blog. Thanks for considering my desires and making your position clear.
Regards!
Optimizing Hans' Table of Contents - A Collage Alternative:
Hi Annie,
I have combined Hans’ Blog Toc with Singpolyma’s Peek-A-Boo Scrolling HTML Widget , PurpleMoggy’s Display Random Post Device and Blogger Buster’s information about scrolling code.
I will use this collage alternative in my section entitled "Contents" until I find a more optimal alternative.
Thanks!

hey annie i^ve put the toc on my site as explained by hans, I don't know though what that's all about with the maximum 100 posts i didn't change anything but my toc displays 500posts the problem is that i got more posts, so how to display those other posts, if i can remember right in the code there was something like max. results 999 but it doesn't work..
@Chris, I don't know about that code. Have you asked Hans? When I get time I'll look into it, but it won't be anytime soon. I have entirely too much going on right now. A trip next week is on the top of my list!
