Keep track of Comments/Conversations with coComment

One of the perks of blogging is the easy interaction between the participants. Comments are the backbone of blogging. With the use of comments a blogger is able to get feedback, answer questions and get to know his/her readers on a more personal level. But, with all the blogs out there and all of the comments, it becomes quickly difficult to remember where you left a comment.
coComment to the rescue! I first found out about this from Blog-Blond. coComment was exactly what I've been looking for.
Previously I would comment on a post and think I would never forget where that blog was. Guess what? I did forget. Time and time again. But, those days are long gone. They couldn't of made it any easier. One less thing on my mind. I would highly recommend giving coComment a try. You won't be sorry.

HAve you checked out the new Blogger and Gmail?
I was so excited at the thought of having categories and raw html editing!
I'll be switching back as soon as they let me.
yes, I saw, but have to work looonnnggg hours today and tomorrow. Maybe the next day I can play with it.
But, I'm kinda glad I can't do anything now...I'm really hesitant. I don't want to give up the ability to edit the raw html. So maybe in a few days I will know if that will be an option or not.
Hi Annie, can coComment be integrated in Blogger template. On it's Homepage there are examples for other blogging platforms but not for Blogger. Visit this link: http://www.cocomment.com/tools/integrate
Specially I cann't figure out what to put in these two fields: pageurl, pagetitle.
Can you pls tell me how can I do this.
@shrish, I will look into this when time permits. I removed coComment, but I'm missing it. So, I will look the site over again and see what changes have been made and maybe I will have an answer for you (eventually).
@shrish, I have intregrated coComent in my blog. I added this code to my blog right under the <head> tag:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Script-Type" content="application/javascript" />
<script type="text/javascript">
// this ensures coComment gets the correct values
coco =
{
tool : "Blogger",
siteurl : "http://bloggeruniversity.blogspot.com",
sitetitle : "BlogU",
pageurl : "http://example.com/~myblog/?p=42",
pagetitle : "My \"Incredible\" Post",
author : "Douglas Adams",
formID : "commentform",
textareaID : "comment",
buttonID : "submit"
}
</script>
<script id="cocomment-fetchlet" src="http://www.cocomment.com/js/enabler.js" type="text/javascript">
// this activates coComment
</script>
You'll notice that I changed some of the type attributes, but not all. It turned out ok...when you comment, coComment double checks with you for the correct post and post URL. Of course, you will put in your blog URL and title.
So it means pageurl & pagetitle fields don't need to be changed.
I implemented the code exactly as you provided on my test blog, and made a comment for testing it, but I cann't see it in my coComment inbox.
Why it is so ?
@shrish, correct. I only changed the first 3 type attributes. Which you did also. I don't understand why it isn't working for you. Sometimes it takes a bit for coComment to show the comment. If it doesn't show up later, I would post a question in their support forum.
Up an running with cocomment. It loads a little slow but in the end it will be worth it. When I leave a comment and the person comments back in comments I rarely ever see it.
The date of this post came up sometime in January and only appears through my google reader. Weird.
@janet, weird, yes. I updated all the posts that had pullquotes in them, and they reposted in feeds. I'm so sorry!
