Remove - Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)

Hi annie,I was just just wondering if there is a code on how to remove the feed link at the bottom of a post, the one which says Post (Atom). Without affecting anything.

  1. Go to dashboard/ template/ edit HTML
  2. Click the 'Expand Widgets Templates' box
  3. Find:

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'> <!-- Blog feed links -->
<b:if cond='data:feedLinks'>
<div class='blog-feeds'>
<b:include data='feedLinks' name='feedLinksBody'/>
</div>
</b:if>

Remove this line:
<b:include data='feedLinks' name='feedLinksBody'/>
That should remove Posts (Atom).

  20. You may use CSS to hide the "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)" link, rather than modify the template directly. However, hiding the "Posts (Atom)" link will also hide the "Post Comments (Atom)" link.

    The CSS may look like this :
    .feed-links{display:none}

    My new blog : Favorizer contents categorized RSS feeds from a number of websites, allow visitors to subscribe directly. However, it is still quite new :)

    Thanks.

  44. Why not just comment out the line of code with <-- blah blah --> ? That way if something goes screwy, the "deletion" can be easily reversed.

    I put a comment in immediately above what I was commenting out so that I have an "audit" trail

    Thank you for your work.

Thank you for explaining these steps to remove it. BTW, this is a great blog wherein you offer awesome tips to manage websites and blogs for newbies without much of a technical knowledge. I really liked other posts like how to change font of the blog and widening posts, header editing etc. I appreciate your efforts.
